As parents ourselves, we understand that you might have more responsibilities now but the fire of travel still burns in your heart. So we have tours running during the school holidays that cover the same important sights as all our tours do, but we tailor the schedule to suit families.
For example, we only use three hotels during the tour as we know how much harder it is to pack all the toys up on check out. We keep the driving to a minimum and allow you to set a certain amount of the schedule. Importantly, we also keep the prices the same as the rest of our tours to ensure you are not penalised for having to take a family holiday during the school break.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Arriving in Bucharest you’ll transfer to your hotel and have an optional dinner, should the kids be tired from a long day then room service can be ordered instead of the included dinner. (D)
Days 2,3 & 4 – Brasov. Leaving Bucharest you’ll drive up into the mountains, taking plenty of breaks and keeping the driving to short bursts. Once in Brasov there are a variety of activities that can be ordered depending on your child’s routine. There will be included visits to Bran castle, the Libearty bear sanctuary, a trip up the mountain on the cable car, and a trip to the local health and leisure centre Paradisul Acvatic. These can all be scheduled with your tour guide, depending on what works for you as a family. (3B,1D)
Days 5,6, & 7 – Predeal. You will then transfer to this mountain resort, the highest town in Romania,
where again there are a variety of activities that can be set at your pace. A visit to the beautiful Peles castle is included, but also there are a variety of outdoor activities available. You will love being out in the mountain air and taking trips to enjoy nature. Our guide will ensure you get the most from your time in the mountains.
Day 8 – You will be transferred to the airport for your return flight, again we will try to make the journey as sympathetic to young families as we can.
